Shinzi Katoh is the darling of the Japanese zakka world. Artist, designer and children's book author, his wares are very sort after, collectible and hard to find outside of Japan.
Wikipedia defines zakka as a broad term that describes anything and everything that improves your home, life and outlook. I think it's best summed up as cute (or kawaii), useful homewares. You can't get much more zakka than Shinzi Katoh! And what is more zakka than a bento I ask you? Its small, its cute, its compact and it fits all your lunch so neatly organised.
This bento lunch box is 10.3 x 13.5 x 8cm. The bottom compartment has a capacity of 260ml and the top 270ml. It contains a removable lid with rubber seal to prevent spills and two locking clips, and inside is a divider to seperate foods and a little fork. Handwashing only is recommended.
