This 2004 album is the debut from the "indie rock for kids" band Lunch Money. They are the kind of guys who definitely sound like they're having fun singing about everyday silly kid stuff... just the way it should be. Their sound is kind of mellow, but with clever and witty lyrics that look straight into the mind of any child you know.
Lunch Money are Molly Ledford (vocals and guitar), JP Stephens (vocals and whistling!, bass, harmonica and mandolin) and Jay Barry (drums and the occasional back up vocal).
Oh, and the album cover comes with the words to all of their songs, so when the kids go "how does that go again" you can answer with knowledge confirming that you are indeed the oracle.
