Monkeytail and Wellington are pleased to present Gucio shoes to Australia.
If we do not have your desired size or colour in stock
below, please join our mailing list and we will advise when new stock is
arriving and let you know when to pre-order so you can get exactly what your
after. Gucio shoes are also available in a summer version (see the images for
an example) in all colours and these are available to pre-order also.
Gucio shoes is a family business started 7 years ago in
Poland by a gentleman who wanted to provide his children with comfortable shoes
that let their feet develop naturally and make walking easy during those first
formative years. They are committed to constantly improving and developing the
one design to create the perfect show for children's developing feet.
Each Gucio shoe is handmade from thin natural leather which
offers greater flexibility. They have a smooth leather interior without any
noticeable seams. All dyes used are non-toxic and only applied to the outside,
therefore there is no direct contact with the skin. Wide soles made of elastic,
non-slip rubber with a soft air cushion under the heel allow flexibility in the
joint and toe line.
Gucio shoes are popular world-wide and have been seen on the
famous little feet of the likes of Apple Martin (Gwynth Paltrow & Chris
Martin).
PLEASE NOTE: Gucio shoes are hand made in Poland using
preWWII non-electric sewing machines. The have received the "Healthy Foot" certificate given by
CLPO (Central Laboratory of Shoe Industry) in Krakow, Poland. These shoes are
made of natural leather and due to the handmade nature of each shoe, colours
may vary slightly.
Gucio shoes are available in US sizes 3-12 (18-28 Euro.)
The difference in length between each shoe size is 0.3 inches (0.76cm).
Size 3 is the perfect "first steps" shoe for your
just-walking toddler. Sizes 8 through 12 offer a double sole in order to
provide more durability for the more active older toddler.
It may seem difficult to choose a child's shoe size for an
internet shoe purchase, but it's actually quite straightforward. Our customers
have had great success by following a simple method of measurement. Follow the
simple steps below to measure your child's foot:
1.) Place a piece of paper on the floor next to a wall.
2.) Place your child's bare foot on the piece of paper with her heel against
the wall.
3.) Mark the length of your child's foot at the tip of the longest toe.
4.) Add 0.60 (1.53cm) inches (the paediatrician-recommended free space) to that
length and look up the corresponding size in the table below:
